God Can Make Your Life Beautiful
What you need:
- Whole milk(you can do this with 2% or other milk but it does not work as well)
- Food coloring
- Dish soap
- Q-tip
Lesson:
This lesson, like many others can be used to illustrate more than one topic. In this case it is used to illustrate the beauty that God can bring into your life.
Pour milk into a bowl and let it settle until the ripples stopped moving.
Put drops of different colors of food coloring into the milk in various spots on the surface.
Say, “Our lives don’t look that impressive do they? Just boring and colorless but when you get God involved…”
Dip the Q-tip into the dish soap and put the tip of the Q-tip into one of the dots of color and you should see swirls of color come out.
God can make something BEAUTIFUL out of your life!
You can also use this to talk about that living for God is never boring and that it will always be exciting or that God can make more out of you and you think you’re capable of.
I might do this tomorrow morning but change it a little bit. Have the children put a drop for a bad thing or disappointment that has happened to them and I will use the q-tip and explain can make our past into a beautiful testimony.
